Dogs are the greatest animal on this planet. It's like burying your brother or sister. It's never a good day, even when they're at least out of pain if that was the situation. You're happy the dog is not in pain anymore, but you also have a piece of you buried as well. Sorry for the lousy day, I'm sure you were great to the dog.

so sorry dude. I adore my dogs and it pains me to know someday they won't be with me anymore. I know your pain. Nothing any of us can do to lessen the pain. Just take comfort in knowing you gave him a wonderful life and loved him like nobody else could and he loved you back. us pet owners are lucky people.

That sucks. I have a Husky. Nanuk is his name. He is goint to be 10 soon. He was just diagnosed with Cancer. Losing a pet sucks. My heart goes out to you.,
