When I was younger, Pink Flamingos did a number on me.
But last month I watched this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irr%C3%A9versible
And the last scene was definitely the most violent thing I'd ever seen.

Pink Flamingos is f'n nuts. We used to get bombed and watch it.Scott
Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.

Salo: 120 Days In Sodom. Simply the most revolting thing I have ever borne witness too. I was rather disgusted with myself for actually sitting through the whole thing.
According to many critics, Salo is supposedly a brilliant work of art where Pasolini expresses his views on fascism and explores morality blah blah blah...it's a sick piece of shit (literally) that never should have been made in the first place. Nobody who has seen it actually enjoys it. If they do they need to be fucking locked up.THIS SPACE FOR RENT

I also think the first 30 minutes of "Saving Private Ryan" is 30 minutes of the most disturbing film footage I have ever watched. I could not get that movie out of my head for 3 months after I saw it on the big screen.
That should be required viewing for all H.S. kids.
I have heard from many vets, including my Uncle who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, that the only thing missing was the stench. Other than that, it was as real as you could get.
MikeSleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

That really messed me up for a while too.
My grandfather tried to explain to me what the Normandy invasion was like many years before this movie was released. After this movie came out he said the same thing. He just pointed at the screen and said just like that.
I was actualy in tears after about 20 minutes.
Not ashamed of it either.
My respect for him grew 100 fold after that. Takes a serious set of balls to live through that kinda hell and not have to be institutionalized.
Another one that messed with me... the original Salems Lot.
Still won't watch it again. Once was enough.-Rick
