Most disturbing/disgusting movie you've seen

Hostel was very hard to watch, gore and abuse-wise. That was an evil movie....

as for disturbing, like psychologically/mentally, I'd say Mulholland Drive is the movie that fucked w/ my mind the most.

Faces of death! In particular the chapter that included the poor bastard who parachuted into the crocadile farm. Ouch!

+2 for saving private ryan. They showed it to us during film class in high school. One day we were shooting off the wall videos about made up products we had to sell. The next day, the teacher sits us down and says "Today we are going to watch Saving Private Ryan".

Freaked me out it did. I think the thing that really got me was how real they made everything seem with the camera angles, effects, sounds, and what not. The first few minutes when they first land on the beach opened my eyes to a lot of things. The rest of the movie was more story driven to me.

The only one that ever bothered me was "Squirm". I saw it when I was a kid and it scared the shit out of me. I turned it off half way thru and I don't think I'll ever watch it.

Man, the Salton Sea was a GREAT movie. Requim for a dream was quite fucked up, I've seen old friends turn into junkies like that. Someone mentioned Salo, I heard that's the most fucked up movie ever. It's banned everywhere, and even to get a shitty vhs of it costs up to $50. If I want to be repulsed by a movie I'll pay $3 and rent Exit to Eden and watch Rosie O'donnel in S&M gear.

Salo: 120 Days In Sodom. Simply the most revolting thing I have ever borne witness too. I was rather disgusted with myself for actually sitting through the whole thing.

According to many critics, Salo is supposedly a brilliant work of art where Pasolini expresses his views on fascism and explores morality blah blah blah...it's a sick piece of shit (literally) that never should have been made in the first place. Nobody who has seen it actually enjoys it. If they do they need to be fucking locked up.

You should read De Sade's book, it's a masterpiece.
