Most disturbing/disgusting movie you've seen

A babysitter once brought ET one night, when I was like 6. I was hiding and crying behind the couch from the first time that little brown fucker came up on screen. I had nightmares for years after that.

I finally brought myself to watch ET last year and it still made me feel uncomfortable.....

Scared of E.T.? Strange. I was about 9 when I saw that, and if I recall correctly, that movie made me cry at the end. If scary were on one polar end, then I was totally on the opposite. There was nothing in the least bit scary in that movie IMO.

Ok when I was 9, I was catholic school boy at St. Rocco..

It was 1973, my dad took me to see the Exorcist...

If that wasn't bad enough, I went to school the next day. We had ass slappin' nuns for teachers. These sadistic, psycho penguins talked about this movie everday for the whole school year..yeah. You see, this was NO "boogie man"..This was real and this could happen to any kid in my class..yeah...

Needless to say I was fuggin' traumatized..yeah. Every night before bedtime I would have to say my prayers, and take both my bible and squirt gun filled with holy water to bed with me..yeah. That entire year in 5th grade..yeah.

Now, I will summon ALL the demons in hell ..only if I could levitate just for a second. I would give my left nut and my soul to have the power to move shit with my mindpower. I would personally give Satan a reach-around if I could spin my head completely around on command!!
I love fuggin' that movie, it's fucking hilarious!!

One of my top 10 comedys of all time!!!

The stupidity of mainstrem entertainment is really disturbing.

I never watched horror and never will. The most disturbing book I read was "Naked Lunch". It´s the only book I know that I will not allow my son to read until he reaches 14. I know, this thread is about movies but I wanted to add something.

I saw the Exorcist when I was 13. For a month solid I fully expected to see her on my bed when I walked into the room and flipped on the light. It made quite an impact on me.

I remember seeing the Exorcist when it first came out, after all the hype and warnings and other bs, I didn't think it was all that scary, Texas Chainsaw Massacre came out about the same time and it definitly seemed much scarier at the time.

Happiness - written and directed by Todd Solondz, is one of the most disturbing pieces of film I have ever seen. The whole thing is filmed in bright, happy colors like a comedy, but the subject matter deals with "normal" people in the grips of prostitution, chronic masturbation, and paedophilia.

A highlight scene is where Dylan Baker's character admits to his family that he drugged and raped his young son's male friend during a sleepover. The honesty of it is... appalling.

Some known actors in this lovely little piece... Jon Lovitz, Lara Flynn Boyle, Dylan Baker, Phillip Seymour Hoffman... This one will mess you up for a solid couple of days. I've seen it twice, which is probably once too many.

Ôdishon (Audition) - directed by Takashi Miike, is bad. It's a good movie, but it's.... bad. Torture scene. Paralysis. Piano Wire. Ankles.

A cute little Japanese girl does some very bad, grisly things to some poor dude for a long, long time.

Interestingly it's not just a gory movie - it actually has an engaging plot. The characters are complex and well-developed, and character development is handled subtlety and realistically in the film. Recommended.

I hear you...it was just awful. I watched it twice as well..the first time I was kinda drunk, so I had to go back and watch again..yeah, very disturbing.
