Cleveland Police Officer was killed just after midnight serving a warrant a 98th and Madison..just two blocks where my good friend/partner was killed as well.

They're not releasing his name to the media due to family notifications. He's a 10 year veteran..thefore I should know him..

I could call the district and find out, but I don't want to. I'm sick of calling the district for these matters lately..

I'll find out later aftet I 10AM guess..

Officer arrived on scene at suspects home and was shot by suspect ..he had a warrant for Rape/Burglery..

Officer died at Metro Hospital..

Sad day for me..

In the military, I got to shoot some really COOL guns.....but the most fun I ever had was blasting away on the Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle....we used that bastid to plink out ordnance littered areas and make them safe for troop movements. But when we took them to the range, .....it was to just how far out we could actually hit shit LOL.....my best was 1700 meters (that's over a mile!!)....but the best shot in the company was nearly 2200 meters.....that is waaaaay the fuck out there! By the end of the day....about the last thing that you wanted to do was shoot anymore rounds (if you sent a lot down range earlier)...your shoulder feels like its about to fall off. But the VERY last thing that you want to do is be a spotter for the shooter...that flash suppressor might hide muzzle blast....but it directs all the vented gasses backwards towards the spotter....eventually you HATED spotting .....especially if you are on a range that utilizes lots of gravel...like all military ranges do LOL.

I always wanted to ask someone who'd know: how does it compare to the AW50? I've seen some Ranger footage, where they used those to destroy tanks, insane!

Have not delt with the AW 50 only the Ma duece (M2 Browning)The Barrett is bad ass no doubt.Incindiary(sp)rounds do some damage.
