I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

BTW,,,that mock up would make an AWESOME 7 stringer,,,,i'd play it"It's because the speed of light is superior to the speed of sound that so many people look shiny before they actually sound stupid"

Dude, once it's done, find some way to contact Ted Nugent!!!...I bet he would buy that in an instant and you would have a big name endorsee playing your axe!!! Just ensure that it is a high quality instrument (I'm sure that you already have done that) and I bet he would be down with it!!I live on the edge of danger facing life and death every single day.....then I leave her at home and go disarm bombs.

As an aside, I was looking for (but never found) RealTree branded fabric back when I was doing that Warmoth Star and KVPro fabric thing. Hopefully it'll look as great on yours as I thought it would.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

Thanks guys (and Gals). Needless to say, this project has me psyched.
Annah - Glad the IGNITOR Dog Tags were a hit! They turned out good, glad I could help! (You Rock!...and I want a CD!)
Dave - I'm sure October can do a 7 string. If I could play one, then I may do one...My fingers get all twisted on a 7 string for some reason. October does a lot of stuff like 12 string basses with extended fretboards & other cool stuff, so I'm sure it wouldnt be a problem.
Bombtek - October does work comperable to The J/C custom shop and PRS. The quality meets or exceeds the top USA builders I have checked out. Tony will be building these himself. Better to have a single luthier build a custom piece, as apposed to several people.
I dealt with Ted Nugent's "camp" a few years back. I did some maketing designs & custom stuff for them. I was born a stones throw from his farm in Jackson MI. Thankfully, I never dealt with him directly...The way I understand it, he is a hard one to deal with. I dealt with his wife & daughter. I think her name is Tasha. Things didnt go as well as it could have with them. I admire his music, and what he does for the outdoor community, and I would LOVE to hunt his farm, but I'm not interested in striking any more deals with them.
Brian - Tony is a JCF member (Subvamp)...great guy. He's got a cool website= octoberguitars.com . October is the beginning of bow season here, So the camo guitar will be cool with an October logo.>>--HuntinDoug-->

Thanks for the props Doug!
I'll be making these killer guitars personally, so I have total control over the process. We're looking at neck-thru mahogany neck, ebony board, mahogany body wings and a 3/8 AAAAA quilted maple top. Lawd, can you say tone!
