August rules! lost my job now too!

So last month rulled pretty much. My dog dies on but still costs me $800. Then last tuesday I went to a meeting where I was told the company I have worked my ass off for 10 years is closing and going bankrupt. Kick ass!! Anyone want to buy a bunch of guitars?

Losing a dog always gets ya, because they're so figgin' devoted to you.

Wait till you get to your next job - you won't ever really care nearly as much about the company you for after you've been at a place that closes its doors. It really puts things in perspective.

Man, that's a double whammy dude! I'm sure it has to pick up from here, and 10 years at one company should look good to interviewers. They will know you are stable and don't bolt at the drop of a hat. Hope you find a good new job soon.

sounds like my first "permanent" job. i'm currently on my second..
never owned a dog, but even vet bills for cats are frikkin expensive too. been there..
