ok, so i have a stomach ulcer. turns out i have a kidney infection too. however, i also injured my groin in february. a month ago i got the kidney pains and the anti-biotics only caused me more groin pain and even stumped my sex drive. the doctor thought it to be cystitis - a water infection of some kind insofar as passing any fluid causes stinging pain (in my case, before and after too). this week my girl decided just for a change that i "take" her hard and fast instead of nice and slow... now i'm back to square one - lots of pain. i don't have any std's. so, wtf have i got?! no point in asking the doctor - they just guess and i'm not playing guinea pig again.

Did you stop the antibiotics early because of the side-effects? That can be a recipe for disaster. If you don't take the full course, you can end up with a stronger, more resistant infection. Go to a different doctor or get a referral to a urologist. If they prescribe the same meds, tell them about your side-effects & see if they have another option. -

I was gonna say it sounds like Herpigonasyphilaides but you said you dont have any std.s so thats out. :LOL: sounds like a nasty bladder infection multiplid by the physical injury. Stay on the meds and get a second opinion.

what if one of the JCFers is a doctor? And doesn't mind providing a diagnosis based on a few symptoms posted on a message board? And then you're accepting advice from a JCFer, but one who is a doctor? What if that doctor who is also a JCF member sidelines at a local guitar store that sells reasonably priced Jackson Warrior cases that aren't too big, but only carries non-Jackson tremelo arms? I had a doctor treat me for a kidney infection for about a month.Never got any better,so I went to another doc.10 minutes in his office and he says I don't have a kidney infection,I have a hernia.I had the stinging from all the antibiotics I was taking.Just a possibility........................Straightjacket Memories.Sedative Highs...........Comment
