dude, talk about the most important things...

how many chicks did you saw, how many of them flashed their tits, how long was the backstage line etc.

Seen both live many times. Vince is always off. Especially during his Mickey Mouse era...(when he was wearing the dumb white gloves). They work miracles in the studio. I opened for him one night at the Birch Hill. Steve Stevens played guitar for him. It was on his solo album. It was the only time I have ever seen him almost on. Of course SS ring made up for it big and other members of his band were singing backups and helping out even on the lead vocal a bit too.

Aerosmith is Always ALWAYS on. Even when they are sick. Never seen a bad show even live on tv.

Had to bring this back. At last minute my friend gave me an extra ticket to see this show at Jones Beach. I saw Motley Crue a few times, and I liked their show (started at 7:30 sharp by the way too). Crazy pyro, good songs, and a good show. Now Aerosmith, I like their music, but I never went outta my way to see them live, but that's all changed. I've never had so much fun at a show. Usually it's death metal shows for me, all about the energy and crowd, but these guys had a huge stage presence and a lot of energy which really got people going. I can't explain what I loved, maybe it was the improv blues jams in between songs, but I love their live show and can't wait to see em again

Yeah, I just got back from that show last night too. MC was good. Like Irf sad, crazy pyro and lights. It was definately loud, perhaps a bit too loud, if thats possible. It became difficult at times to tell which song they were playing. Vince really sucked at first, but after a few songs he found his cartoon voice and wasnt too bad for the rest of the set. Micks tone was great, he sounded good. And apparently GWB is the devil. LOL! Giving us the finger to boot. Priceless. Ok, on to Aerosmith. I never saw them live. I always wanted to but for some reason or another never made it. Wow! It was great. I dont care if you hate Steven Tyler, he can sing. and hes all over the stage and looks like hes having a great time. So you hate all those cheesy songs like Cryin and What it takes, well they were awesome and Steven can really belt out all the high notes. Joe Perry was great. He was all ove the place, playing on the floor, on his back the whole nine yards. He used a bunch of guitars but his main ax was a sick amber tigerflame les paul with what looked like a bigsby. He also had the unfinished es, a Tele, the one with the girl on it, a black LPC, red sparkle LP, USA flag LP some acrylic thing, an upside down lefty stratish mutt with a tele neck. And Brad Whitford doesnt move around much but he did play the leads in most of th older classic songs, interesting. He was great and stayed with his LP for the most part. All in all it was a great show, had a great time, even the kids liked it. My wife's one complaint is that they didnt do Dream On. Oh, well, I told her maybe next year. And of course leaveng the Jones beach theatre is a free for all with all the crazy t-shirt vendors jumping between all the cars to boot.
