My new toy!

yeah, I know most people here won't give a rats ass...but I'm so stoked I just had to share!
My old paint booth was a piece of shit, and finally after two months of dealing with salesmen, parts shortages, shipping delays, etc., it's finally complete! It's still not "top of the line", but this one will make painting a lot more fun. It's 360 sq. feet with 36 tubes of 65K varilux daylight lighting, and a 12,800 cfm exhaust! I'm in heaven! ....Of course I won't be buying a bunch of guitars any time soon...

Is that a stand alone structure? Or do you have it inside your garage or something?

Thanks man! Yes, it's a stand alone structure, and yes, it's inside my shop. My shop is 3200 sq. feet total (40' X 80'), and the booth itself is 15' X 25'.

Awesome, Mark! I know what it's like to get excited about something most people wouldn't give a toss about.

I think that is super-cool, though. Nothing beats a nice work environment to make it seem less like work and more like fun!

It's alive!!! Hot shit!! I can't wait to see what doozies come out of there after completion of any and all subjects that enter the " Mark's make it way cool cube" The man is talented. If I ever have a spending budget again that includes anything after cigarettes, my '70 GTO Judge, '63 or '67 Corvette, and Atomic Magic Red Glitter Carpet (fits two) WILL pass through the sacred new room to be "Marked" and made cherry.
