Anyone know anything about these cars? I see one for sale for 7,000 and it looks so damn sweet. Pretty much the car that I want. Too bad I don't have a job and in debt for school.

On the downside, you'd better be out of debt and have a job to drive this, because it'll likely be in the shop as often as it's on the road
And do you really want to spend $7k on a 20-year-old car?

Damn.. why do I have to have a obession with high class expensive (at the time) 80's cars. Does anyone know of any cars in this class that doesn't hurt the wallet for maintenance?
The only ones that I think would be light are the Volvo 240 and 740.. I really like those cars as well.

Depends on what you mean by quality. The design in general was very boxy and not necessarilly aesthetically pleasing. However in many ways, 80's cars are higher quality than even today's cars (in terms of quality materials, fit and finish, etc). You'd be more likely to find real metal and beefier plastics in an 80's car.
My 87 Accord was completely rattle-free until the day the transmission died
I wish I knew as much about cars then as I do today, because I'd probably still be driving that car!
