Nah, come on. Consistent practice and you'll get better. Hell, look at Van Halen, they made it didn't they :ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF: (Not a Van Halen fan )

Ok, it was only a joke.............don't pounce on me!!!!!

One of the things my band did to help communication is a bulletin board like this one we're using here. We set up a private section for band members only and it really helps the communication.

          No-shows for rehearsals are a big no-no.

There's always at least one in the band that's a smacked ass like that. With my band now (we've been together 8 years) It's always the bassist. We've been thru 10 of them.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

For us the biggest ego is our singer. He bitches about everything and complains and just has his sights set on becoming a rockstar. He spends countless hours promotin gthe band each week which is really great, but he never practices singing and fails to realize while he is a good singer, he can be a lot better if he would stop fucking smoking and learn some better technique.

(our drummer is 20 and wears his moms screaming for vengence concert shirt)

We just fired our last bassist for the whole "I'm gonna be a rockstar" thing. I actually wrote a song about it....it's in the MP3 submissions section here.
