This one ..I've had her for 20 years and was my main guitar... She currently has a H/S/S with 3 minis in her. This is the guitar my wife tells me I get buried with ..
Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

I already had it. it';s gone now, so give me a '59 les paul standard over any other guitar, anyday of the week. c'mon, they go for 300k when they are mint, and 300k would just about get me back to even. maybe.

At the moment, I'd have to say my worn/faded cherry "Vintage Mahogany" Les Paul Studio with EMGs (85 in the bridge and 25th anniversary chrome 81 in the neck), TP6 fine-tuning tailpiece and diamond plate aluminum pickguard (pickguard made by Budman).

I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

An archtop Soloist built like the 750XL, but with a few tweaks:

mah w/ 3/4" flametop (or maybe quilt)
                    set maple neck (unfinished!)
ebony board w/ abalone reverse sharkies
                    non-recessed OFR
Duncan Custom / Pearly Gates, with the special 5-way switch

It would be tough to live without my Charvels, but as much as I love them I think I'm still more of a set neck / neckthrough guy at heart.

                        My star.
                        It's just perfect for me.
Also it does a damn good tele impersonation when I hook it up to a fender amp.

I'd take an alder bodied, maple boarded, Tele or Esquire.

It would be a tough call between my Les Pauls and the 750XL.
