So anybody know what improvements were made? I guess I'm the first to post so far...

Some templates and styles from 3.5x to the latest version, 3.6.1 are incompatible and some images will be missing. It's just a matter of finding which ones are missing and moving them to the new directory...

But, the entire upgrade shouldn't take more than 30 or 45 mins. I've setup and configured entire sites using vBulletin in less than a few hours.

The wait was rather depressing.... I actually found myself drifting towards other forums looking for comfort, but it just wasnt the same. Thankfully I had physorg to keep me occupied.

I would guess that these were security updates. The Hamer board was nailed, just before the JCF went down. Why do people hate guitars?

Yes you can have a VB up and running and looking good in about an hour. Takes a little longer when your modifying tables with 800,000 records and things dont upgrade correctly, have to reinstall plugins that are used, rebuild the search index and update all the counters. I can always take longer too if you all would like..

Computer geeks are jealous of guitar players.

i had to resort to going back to harmony central again. it was so depressing to hear nothing but "BUY A STRAT AND A TELE!! YOU NEED A STRAT AND A TELE TO DO ANYTHING WORTHWHILE ON THE GUITAR!!!!"

needless to say its good to be back
