I have a question. Who's going to spend years in 100 degree heat building the sucker? Not me.:ROTF: :ROTF: It will probably work out to a $1000 a foot. That's like 4 billion dollars.:ROTF: :ROTF:
Get the Mexicans to build it cheap..............................just make sure they stay on their side while they are building it.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong.

Carlos Mencia did a routine on just that, "Mexicans are all for building a wall. cuz ya know whos gonna do all that work in 100 degree heat, Mexicans thats who" :ROTF: :ROTF:
All you have to do is lay a 4 foot wide steel plate the length of the Rio 2 feet from the bank.Hook up one phase of 480 volts @ 60 amps to the plate, and a second phase in the river.Bet they don't touch that plate twice....
Bon Jovi is like a frozen Coca Cola.. It's cool, it's crunchy, but when all is said and done it is still pop....

I swear I didn't see that. But it makes sense.:ROTF:
Here's the deal. We can have a fun thread about building walls without starting the "WHYS" and for "WHOM". The is not a "Political" thread. We have already been through that. Where do we get the materials? How many years will it take to build? Where's the money? Will it work?
I live on the border and I am a third generation Mexican- American and I will tell you a wall will not help. There just isn't a feasable way to protect a structure that long from individuals hell bent on crossing over. I don't really believe that there is a way to keep immigrants from entering the U.S. without militarizing the border.
