Get her something from Frederick's or Victoria and tell her it's to complete the evening.Oh,and make sure it is something difficult to get into and make sure she doesn't wear it very long.
As for the show itself,don't knock it til it's over.One of the greatest shows I have ever been to was a Wayne Newton show.The band was AWESOME (the guitarist did part of Eruption for his solo),and it was the last time I did anything with my Grandmother,she passed away 5 months later.I wasn't looking forward to the concert,but I walked away glad I went,and it is one of my most cherrished memories.Bon Jovi is like a frozen Coca Cola.. It's cool, it's crunchy, but when all is said and done it is still pop....

Dude...I was gonna spill the beans on my Wayne Newton moment! My mom is a "Wayniac" and said I have to see the show. I did it for her...quite a moment when your mom gets pissed when Wayne kissed another!!!
