Hi to everybody here at the Jackson/Charvel Forum. At the suggestion of NextInLine I wanted to introduce myself and say that the forum looks like a real cool place to be. I've been playing guitar since the early 90's and after a long layoff playing drums, I've finally returned to the guitar. Here are some pics of them:
The first is a Jackson Rhoads Pro (I found out through the forum here:http://www.jcfonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60114) It's a great guitar that I've had for about 12 years. It feels good playing solo's n' stuff but it's got a thicker neck than my other guitar so it takes me some time to get a handle on the more complicated chords.
Next is an ESP KH-1 (Kirk Hammett) I bought in the late 90's. I'm a big Metallica fan - Justice For All was the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place. It's a bright sounding, loud guitar that works well if you like to add lots of different effects. The only thing is that it's top heavy, I find myself pulling the headstock up away from the floor alot which sucks.
Now I'm off to learn that trademark Dimebag squeal
