Latest Project: Bullet Hole Inlays

Maple board, 25.5 in scale. Bullet holes are done in Pearlessence with black mirror holes to give it depth. The white in center of the three inlays is a reflection. I'm gonna do another bullet hole layout with blood trickleing out of the 12th fret, and running down the FB. Would go good with a blood splatter graphic. Let me know what you think....

When I read the title, I thought, "That is probably going to suck, because I see that on vehicles and it just doesn't look right." Hell I've seen that on minivan liftgates. I always want to put a real bullet hole in the vehicle and see if the owner notices.

When you say blood running down the fretboard, do you mean towards the body or towards the floor? I suggest towards the floor, but you obviously know what your doing, so take my advice at your own risk.

If the guitar is at the same angle as if it were being played, the blood will run down (toward the floor). I may have it look like it is covering part of the 12th fret, then when it gets to the bottom edge of the neck, it will run down the neck to the body. Along the way it will pool at the edge of each fret it comes in contact with.
