Hey, Emeril's got a city to rebuild! Or at least a restaurant! Really, though, the way to make a pot of Cajun red beans and rice is to get any regular smoked sausage and some Paul Prudhomme's Cajun Seasoning mix, or even Zatarain's Crab Boil seasoning, and put that in the beans along with the sausage. Cook those beans for several hours, adding water to keep them from drying out and also mushing them after a couple hours to get the water muddy, and that is the shit! Make your rice plain - no salt - and depend on the beans for the seasonings. Get your Beano though if you have company, if not it's gonna be a fartfest!

So what he posted 1K times in 10 minutes, the admins still need to give him access to the classified. If he decides to then abused it kick him. Like the classified are some magical place the everyone is dying to get too.

I'm sorry, resetting his post count was just "child-ish", BUT less "child-ish" than changing his tag to "ball sniffer or whatever so I guess I shouldn't complain.

There is nothing wrong with Noobs posting a lot. The board is new and fun. And, bless the new blood. But, to post just to get to 100 to get to the classifieds is wrong. Guess your right I should have just locked his account instead. It wasn't childish by any means, what is childish is what you just posted because it is clearly written in our rules.

Go back as I've done and look at his post quality and then you start to see a pattern of someone padding to get their 100 posts. So he got rest to zero and his account is tagged for future classifieds access in case he tries it again.

Sorry if I took it personally but I'm tired of being accused of being heavy handed or childish for enforcing rules that are clearly written on our site.. I guess it is just easier to throw us under the bus than it is to have a bit of understanding.....

No, we don't need to give anyone access to the Classifieds. It's a privately run forum, and no one pays a membership fee, so why all the complaining?
