  • What's your favourite Tool album?

Just wondering which album the Tool fans prefer. My favourite is Lateralus by an easy margin. Any who aren't Tool fans, should buy, borrow or steal the CD, listen to it in the dark, with headphones, and tell me they don't love it. I dare you!!!

I still love Undertow. I picked it up before they became huge and was like "wow these guys are great" So it felt like my own little discovery at the time. So it holds a special place to me.

Sadly I'm still mourning the canceled show here at the beginning of last month I was supposed to see Cuz Maynard got sick.

I only own Undertow... got it when it came out, listened to it maybe two or three times, it's collecting dust somewhere in my cd collection. I guess I should find it and maybe rediscover them. The new stuff I've heard on the radio lately I really like.

Aenima. I think that was Tool at their best.

Not a big Tool fan, but I would say Lateralus.

10,000 days is good but it is a lil boring to me. Still a great album.

Lateralus, 10k days, and Aenima, in that order.

Aenima has some great songs but I think the production is too "muddy" for the tracks to really stand out....but Lateralus is just awesome.

Just listen to The Grudge etc....awesome stuff once it sinks in.

Torn between undertow and Aenima.....I think Undertow has the win for me....Lateralus would be next....I like Opiate before 10k days....I agree that disc is boring although there are a couple killer tunes (the pot, Jambi)
I have been litening to tool since 93 so I tend to like the ld stuff better
