    Racer X's Beach Gig

    Hey local guys!

    My cousin's band got a gig at a marathon in Long Beach this Sunday

    but the rest of the band flaked at the last minute

    Anybody got a drum set and wanna play some tunes for a couple hours?
    Like Stones, Beatles, The Who, etc. It's supposed to be an "upbeat" set list so no death or black metal

    My cousin plays bass and sings (?) heh, he is also a drummer but doesn't have a kit currently. He asked me for help, all I can do is a little rhythm guitar but I said I'd help him as much as I can. If we can't get anybody else the plan is to do a part acoustic guitar (Kevin) part electric guitar (me). Possible Spinal Tap moment coming up! :ROTF:

    Tonight we went over a few songs...but we could really use some help.... oh BTW it's from 6 AM - 9 AM Sunday

      one dude doesnt equate to a band...sounds like he should just bring some backing tracks to jam along to or blow it off good luck

          Yeah - I'm planning on getting up at 4 AM - ERK!

          Well I'm at my cousin's house practicing...so we're doing it!

              The only time I get up at 4AM..is when I gotta go Pee..

                      Excellent! It was a lot of fun, but I'm still recovering....(messed up my sleep schedule and now I have a cold)...I'll get the pics uploaded and write a post soon...OK here's a pic...Initiate laughter sequence!
