Buying a Violin.

Anyone have any suggestions one buying one? I don't want to spend too much money but I don't want to buy crap.

I can't help much but if there is a Brook Mays Music near you go check them out - their retail stores are all closing and they have tons of that stuff at 50% or more off the already discounted price.

I got a violin bow very cheap - we all know why I did that...

Expect to drop a few hundred at least on a decent violin. Those $99 and $169 violins at Musicians Friend are total shit. Feels like they're made of cardboard and construction paper. The bows are crap too.
