congratulations for keeping me glued to a national league game the whole way for the first time in like, forever. I thought they were in trouble after chavez made that catch and doubled up Edmonds. But they withstood the assaults, you have to give them that. The cardinal killer Beltran goes down watching with the diapers loaded? Couldn't believe my eyes. Even though the Mets had no pitching staff, congrats to the Cardinals and their fans. They have knowledgeable fans I must say. And loyal.

Although St Louis has a pretty good squad I think the Tigers can handle them easily as long as they play well..they dont have to play great, just continue on with solid pitching. Tigers in 6...it will take them a game or 2 to knock the rust off

The Cards squeaked that one out, if the Mets have a normal pitching rotation, they spank them cards in 5 or less. The Cards won 83 games this year, that's 2 games over 500, I still can't believe they're in the world series. Beltran decides to stop playing baseballat the most important spot in the series. i'm with ya, sir. the tigers are having the same kind of year that the white sox had last year. i wanted the mets to win because i hate the cardinals (and the NL, really) and mainly b/c i picked the series as mets vs. tigers in the WS back in april.
