tigers in 5. i only say that because it's now 7-2, STL. there's no way that the cardinals will win the series for a few reasons:

1. (and perhaps most importantly) the NL sucks. alot. like a new dyson vacuum.
2. see #1.
3. there's just no way in hell that an NL team is gonna win the WS this year. the leagues are way too one sided in favor of the incredibly superior AL. it's just the way things should be.
4. see #1.

tommy, i think it's time for some in depth predictions. are you going to reanimate ty cobb or anything like that? your 05 predictions were pretty spot on, even when it came to shoeless joe's ghost!

Really. Thats the reason I hate the American league. They pay some fat lazy jerk millions to just sit the whole game and bat 4 times. Its easier to be an American league coach because you dont have to deal with the strategy of when to let the pitcher bat or pull him and such. It's a well known fact that pitchers who jump in their twilight years to the NL will feast on NL hitters. They just aren't as strong in that sense. Pedro was a good indicator of that as well as Bronson Arroyo. It isn't a dumb statement it is based in fact ..
