If you ask me, this comes about 10 - 15 years too late. The DLR Van Halen Years are indeed the best of that band period. That being said, I also like the Sammy VH stuff, but it's a totally different band. They toured last year with Sammy and it went off pretty well because Sammy still sounds like Sammy. DLR isn't a shadow of what he once was. In a wierd way, I kind of appreciate the fact that they haven't played together in all this time. Some one in this thread put it best by saying that they want to remember VH from their last tour with VH(1984). It kinda keeps those years special.

All that being said, If they do tour with DLR and Micheal Anthony, I'll buy tickets. I've been waiting since they split for this. I just hope they can pull it off.
