Also, take into account the fact that Eddie has been renewing and taking out new copyrights like a demon recently....apparently there is alot of EVH equipment coming out..beyond the amp. A new Wolfgang, etc. What better way to get exposure out there than a tour. As much as I love Eddie, he is ruled by the BIG BUCK, they all are. There is so much money to be made by finally giving the fans what they want...

If they can only get along for a short time, and not self-destruct.

    MIke
Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

I'm happy if the just jam in the garage and record all their ideas with a 4track, that's how the real VH vibe must be captured.
I too would pay a lot to see 'em.

      next Sykes + Coverdale please

Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!

Same here but if it does happen I'd be right there, without Mikey though the old songs just won't sound right.
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

I am as pessimistic as everyone here and would also be there at the drop of a hat if this happens. If it does go down and there is a lot of new EVH gear coming out I wonder if Ed will like auction off his whole rig from each show. What better way to advertise new amps, guitars, or whatever else he would be hocking? The auction did get pretty out of hand for the art series after all.

If this happens I will join you at the end of the earth. I flew all over Canada in 2004 to see the Sammy reunion; I will go to Mike B's ancestral homeland, if required, to see DLR & EVH on stage again.

Even if it happens, are you really expecting to be amazed by these burnouts? You may be better off with your memories of the golden days. High expectations based on past glory usually leads to serious disappointment.

                  Let's hope for the best.

The mind is very capable of filling gaps, my man. These guys are not burnouts..they are living FUCKING LEGENDS and fully capable of pulling it together.

I never got to see the original lineup, so this would be magical for me.

Well, that would be Eastern Europe..so we could pull Endrik in with us.

I guess somewhere way back in time I went forth from Egypt when Moses cried the words, "Let My People Go!" :ROTF:

Well if they come even close to here, I am sure I will be first in line to get tickets.

Maybe it'll work if they just keep the band separated except when on stage. There's always talk of Dave being unbearable, but I've seen him on the Women and Children First tour and his own band with Vai. Both times Dave was an unbelievable performer and very professional. Wouldn't mind seeing him again.
If Eddie can keep himself together on stage and keep them apart offstage, they should do well.

I'll believe it when I'm holding the ticket in my hand.
Man what a show that would be.
VH... the REAL VH, was the first concert I ever went to.
