Anyone that busts out a 10 top PRS at a gig and can't play.
SeventhSon, Drsracing, and I saw a band in Seattle on Friday like this. Ten top PRS into some fancy amp and the guy sounded awful. I'm not sure how he was able to coerce Squier Strat into a Pignose tones out of that rig but he did it. In addition to not being able to spin the knobs to a decent setting he couldn't pick the strings very well. But hey, he was just as good as everyone else in the band.
I especially liked their coreographed stage moves which peaked with an attempt at synchronized pogo on the chorus of the song that they introduced as "an oldie but a goodie!"
he's got ya there John... there is likely a 'but' to that.
I think I've seen a couple "I'm 'old', so I'm gonna quit playing and sell all my gear posts too." .. well.. there's always posting thoughts for opinion that one makes out loud..
you seek opinion or support for views as well have your thoughts on others.. kinda what a forum is about..
there's going to be elements of bullshit and differences in everything,..like work.
or.. how I can own over a hundred guitars and not own a PRS..and that I should be ashamed because I choose not to go out and buy one.. I suppose I could sell an Import Washburn or Ibanez to pick up a SE.
I just never really wanted a PRS.. I could get by with a 100.00 import if I had too. I suppose that would be considered a BS line to some, 'but' I bear no shame for my preference.. or lack of preference in guitars or amps based upon a it being different to someone elses.
I can play sixteenths at 240 bpm to a metronome no problem
BS
Translation: You'll never hear my playing.
I always translated that one as "I don't really know how to use this metro-thingy - it's one note per beat isn't it? That means I can play faster than Petrucci!"
You must be talking about my Vetta... or the hundreds of other amps that were all I ever needed.
I am a total gear whore although I really do still dig my Vetta.

The truth hurts although I think most of your response is BULLSHIT. ...lol...
I will say one thing though.. for the record...
I really can play and record and gig and everything. Honest.
Here is another one:::
San Dimas made guitars have mojo. They are so much better than the Ontario made guitars.... BULLSHIT
