I'd like to see a modern small car like the Neon last more than a few years with that high performance motor in it. I had a Turbo AWD Talon that ran 14 flat in the 1/4 with a few minor mods - I also broke a pair of transfer cases at the tune of $2k or so each. Went through clutches pretty fast also. A small car with a small high performance engine is pretty high-strung, and will likely be breaking parts pretty fast. Most manufacturers will hop up the engine but leave the rest of the drivetrain alone. Bad idea.
A 1970 Mopar is still revered 36 years later. I really doubt anyone is going to seek out that Neon in the year 2042.

Pete
Yea Pete, and that same 1970 Mopar has probably been fully restored a few times, not to mention several complete drivetrain overhauls. It was also most likely towed numerous times over the years too. I agree about the revered 36 years later statement though.
they looked good tho.
my favorite car in high school was a '71 Mach1 with a 429 SCJ btw. Back then, 4 cyl cars were nothing more than econo aluminum block or aluminum head problem ridden engines or the incoming MIJ 'rice burners' and that mentality is hard to break in the american psyche of some.
The new bass player in VH?.I had a Pinto with a 351Cleveland.There was absolutely NO bullshit with that rocket. You just better have that pup pointed in the direction you wanted to go because it was a tad squirelly.............
"I'm so looking forward to buying my first [insert guitar model here]. Of course, as soon as I get it I'll swap in some EMGs & an OFR"
BS
who doesn't give the stock pickups a chance before deciding whether to keep them or not. Particularly on a guitar you've never tried before. Particularly given that US & Japanese Jacksons, many Korean Schecters, etc come with REAL Seymours from the factory now! Who you trying to impress?!
jgcable is a humble, unconcieted guy who doesnt think he is the meanest, toughest, strongest, best guitarist, most experienced guirtist, greatest thing since sliced bread

all these hair metal bands are gay
BULLSHIT
you are gay because they get laid unlike you
these days the musicians are a lot better than in the 70's and 80's
BULLSHIT
in 70s and 80s they played all their takes in without editing the shit out of them with pro tools
my pro tools system sounds just as good as vintage recording rig
BULLSHIT
your system is sterile as hell, it doesn't have the natural distortion of tape recorder
this power metal drummer hits very strongly
BULLSHIT
how the fuck you know that when he is using triggers
