"potential 2007 classmates such as R.E.M., Chic, and Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five."

I don't know about anybody else, but the rest of the class screams rock to me!

If VH gets inducted, they'll go on tour for sure!

If VH gets inducted I will not settle for anything else other to be live right there when they get inducted

Even more evidence to show what a bunch of bullshit the Rock Hall is... I live here (less than 3 miles away from it) and won't even go to it... Never have...

If they can't put Black Sabbath, Sex Pistols and Kiss in, there is something wrong.

Although never a great band in many ways, Kiss was a tremendously huge force upon rock.

And Black Sabbath absolutely, without a doubt, made metal what it is today. No doubts there. Metal would NOT be where it is without them. No question whatsoever.

The Sex Pistols made punk what it is... Period.

So many left out... So, that is just BS that they're all not there.

Just a bunch of crap. I'd probably be happy if I was in one of those bands that got left out. When it came out, induction was an honor. Now, it's tainted...

It would be appropriate to say, No thanks! And, I'll guess the Sex Pistols will be the first to do so, if they ever get the chance.

Actually Sabbath was finally inducted but I'm guessing it only happened now because of Ozzy's recent mainstream popularity. The Sex Pistols were too but Johnny Rotten did blow them off, which is hilarious.

It's about time VH was at least nominated, I'm assuming they will be inducted especially considering the other nominees -lol. But that still leaves Rush, Kiss, and Judas Priest needing to be in. But like John said, it's just not the honor it used to be. A lot of P.C. bullshit.
                Unleash the fury.....Texas style!

It's not who they don't let in, it's who they do.

                      Aretha Franklin
                      Bonnie Raitt
                      Hank Williams
                      Johnny Cash
                      And a few others

Sorry, but the RRHOF is for "Rock & Roll" and those are not Rock & Roll.

part of the RRHOF's problem is its in Cleveland...fuggin Cleveland. It should have been in Detroit...Kiss says Detroit is Rock city and Bob Seger says "Detroit audiences are the greatest rock & roll audiences in the world"

If they do get in a part of induction is the live performance. Interesting stuff, what better way to announce a reunion tour?
