My 14 year old step-daughter who is living with her grandmother in Louisiana tried to kill herself by swallowing a whole bottle of Tylenol. She's in the hospital but will be ok. We have no idea what happened. She said the last thing she remembered was her daddy taking her hand and saying it was time to come and stay with him. He's been dead since 1995.
My other step-daughter came to the house with her boyfriend so we could be together as a family during this crisis. Once all was somewhat settled down in the early evening her and her boyfriend left to go to a Carolina hurricanes game. She called 10 minutes later crying hysterical saying they had just been in a car wreck. She was shaken up but her and her boyfriend are fine. His Jeep is totaled but they are fine and that's all that matters.
It was a hell of a day. Just in case anybody was wondering, yes, I did stay sober...66 days and counting now.
