  • Thanks everybody

Thanks for buying alot of my gear so far in my "I need money" thread.
Unfortunately... I went to put a deposit on the car today after my son Nicks wrestling meet (he came in 3rd in a very tough tournament) and the car is sold.
He will probably be a little upset but he is such a good boy he won't let me know it.
I will keep looking to find him the perfect car.

    Thanks again everybody!

Oh yea... there are still things available to buy!! John G

I have a Camaro I'm selling... Needs very minor work, but has a killer stereo system in it.

The car was a 1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. Its the high wing car. They made 1695 of them total. This one was the black one with the gold wheels.
          Other cars he likes are:

          Neon ACR
          Toyota Supra
          BMW 325
          Nissan 300ZX

Beginning Nov 7th he will be driving my 2000 Plymouth Neon LX because I take the train to work.
I want to get him his own fixer upper car to work on over the winter so that he can appreciate what its like to wrench your own car.

My first car (which I had to buy myself) was a 1968 Plymouth Valiant!

My 1st car was a 1968 Dodge Dart. I bought my sister her first car. It was a 1965 Dodge with a pushbutton tranny. I paid $50.00 for it.

I am calling about a 1985 Porsche 944 tomorrow night. It needs a little work but not too much. I am a pretty good mechanic and a certified auto body man. I want to get something special for him to drive for his senior year next year before he is off to college. Then I get the car!!!

My daughters will be driving by then too. I am thinking Cabrio's when its their turn.

Yeah man I paid $50 for my Plymouth also!

That Porsche sounds cool, as long as you wrench it yourself. They go through water pumps & radiators, among other things.

My first car was a Mercury Maverick. My mom saved up and got it for me. cost her 100 bucks. That was A LOT of money to her. It was a death trap needed so much work...I gave it back to her a couple of months later, and she sold it for 125.
