In retrospect. The best part about it is that it was a bs to win-win situation.
I respect that Jim went the extra mile to keep the employee on board, enforce what was needed for the company and still reign as the fair guy.

Scott, I booked him a sweet hotel room for Saturday night so he and his girlfriend can have a little getaway, along with a $100 gift certificate for the hotel restaurant. We're taking out the camera tonight - he's an asset to the team, no question.

I was about to say... after torturing the poor guy like after he has been working off the clock. You better do something for the guy after fucking with him like that.
