Leather Jackets!

I still have mine I bought when I was 18..Doesn't fit now of course, but I still have it. I bought it at Bermans Leather. It's a biker leather, but I have not found another like it since. Seems most of the leathers I find now are buffalo hide instead of cow.

I have a lamb skin jacket I bought a few years ago. It's more of a blazer type and set me back $600! Nice jacket though.

I bought mine at a punk shop called Two Tone in Passaic, NJ in 1980. It is the same one the Ramones made famous. Yes I still have it and yes it still fits.:ROTF: I usually only wear it if I am out on the bike.

I got my Bomber jacket at Wilsons about 96ish. It needs some repair form a car accident when the paramedics ripped it pullin me out of my truck. But I love it is heavy and really warm and extremely comfortable and fits perfect.
I alos have one mymom got me a few years ago for christmas. Its ore of a regular style coat. also from Wilsons. But its supposed to be black and is truning green in spots. The people at wilson's said i should talk to the guy that does thier repiar and see if he can clean it. Or deoxidize it or something. igs a nice coat but it doens fit as well as my other one and its a bit loose in the waist so wind blows up at times. But it was a gift from mom and im a sentamental kind of guy so. I wear it alot. but i did recently switch back to my other one and remembered why i bought it. It was on sale for like 120 bucks on clearance.

I got mine at Sam's Club a few years back and it's my main winter coat. I think it was around $100 including tax. It has some wear spots and has also turned green in some places.....sounds like a cleaning is in order.

I bought mine from some small shop many years ago. It was like a trying to squeeze into baby cloths the last time I put it on,. I gave it to my brother-in-law.
I would like to have another someday, but don't really ever wear jackets anymore... after all, I live in hell. It gets cold like two weeks out of the year.

Haha, the same store I got mine actually has them in bright red leather too. Obviously the design of it is different, but the color is dead on to the mikey jacket. As for the sunglasses, I don't have mirror ones, but I have some really big ones with pink snake skin on the front above the lenses. I think they were like 50 cents from a goodwill.

I have a whole bunch of leather jackets. a Boy London that's real cool, a Bally's that is really cool, and of course one I got down on the Bowery in NYC about 439
years ago when the dinosaurs were still ruling the earth.

Another musician gave me my first leather when I needed a jacket and had no money.. a brown bomber.
Wore that for a couple years on the road.
I in turn also gave it away to someone who needed a jacket.

Most my leathers came from Wilsons factory outlet during the seaonal fall sale. I've bought a few from other places tho..wherever they strike my eye and are a nice price. I have a nice dress leather from Daytons which was clearanced that only gets worn every once in awhile for special occasions.
I think I paid 50.00 for my embroidered Fender with leather attachments years ago at a GC sale... I pretty much wear that every day.

mine is a Kenneth Cole driving coat which are a little longer. i don't like any that have the elastic waist because they ride up. i guess i have breeder hips?
wait til after xmas and get the year end sales.

ya, but try living in zero to 20 below weather for a few months with anything other than a thinsulate or fur lined. That first leather given to me had a faux fur collar/zip out lining and while I didn't care for it being on there...it kept me warm. I bought another bomber since w/o faux fur. Leather protects very well from the cold.

I bought mine at Wilson's I believe about a year ago...they were placed on a sale rack listed at $125...when I went to the register to buy it she asked where I got it...I pointed to the rack and she had this freaked out look on her face...she rang it up at $125 then went straight to the rack and grabbed the others off it...turns out it was a $400 jacket that was NOT supposed to be on sale.....SCORE!

funny you say that. Last month, I went in to a Wilsons with a desire to get another biker jacket. I tried a gorgeous one on without lookin at the price. After checkin it in the mirror and lovin it, i was about to put it back on the rack fearing it was out of my range. It was $128. I was syked & bought it!
