  • Bye guys! Wish me luck!

In 10 days or so shit hits the fan!

I'm going to do my (compulsary) military service. I will recieve my papers in a few days and become Private Levantin of the Turkish Armed Forces. (no privates jokes please!) I'll be serving for 6 months or so. So far I have no idea where I'll be going or what I'll be doing. All I know is that I'll be locked down in basic training for 21 days. Wish me luck!

I's been great getting to know you guys. I hope I'll come back in one piece and start back up where I left off.
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.

Good luck and be careful, Pvt. 21 days of basic training? Damn, that is short. If I remember correctly, USMC boot camp was 3 months.

Be sure you'll be in safe dude, at least safer than living in a metropol :P

And there are internet-cafes almost in every military base for privates so maybe you can write while you're in service.

                  good luck.

How long do you have to serve?

A family friend had to return to Greece a few years ago and do 2 years compulsary service, i wondered if it is the same for you.
