What more can you say? My favorite year of the goat. Does it have the 455 or 400.

This one is a 1970 400 4 spd car. The only thing non-original is I removed the vinyl top, but that would be easy enough to replace if anyone ever wants to return it 100%. The color is the original #75 cardinal red.

            My favorite year GTO. Sweet.

            I miss my red '65.

Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

I have to ask, I used you spray nothing but Lacquer. Hand rubbed or machined buffed?

I did one rubbed out, never would do another.

Speaking of cars. I know where there is an Olds 442 for $1,000. But, my stepson was a little vague on the year. Says it runs. It's a fukking automatic. I'm kind of interested. But, maybe I'm getting old but I just don't have the feeling to buy it.

Well........I held the buffer with my hands so I suppose this one would be hand rubbed?
Yeah, you're right, it's a total pain in the ass either way. This time of year you have to use such a hot lacquer thinner, it dry oversprays everywhere. It's a fucking mess to do. Otherwise, you use a slower thinner and it takes 3 to 4 months before you can even color sand it. Fuck that.

Depends on the year dude. It's probably like a 1974 and one of the ugliest least valuable pieces of shit ever made, or maybe even an early 80's, still not worth shit. .........now...if it happened to be a 68, 69, or 70, it may be worth a little more than 1K.

Yeah, that's the problem. He wasn't clear on the year. He had to ask me whether a 442 was worth anything. I am old enough to know my 442's. I would like to see it. Maybe, I will.

If it happens to be a nice clean 70 442, and you buy it for 50 bucks I'm driving to Washington just to kick your ass!!!!!

Even up to 1972 is ok. Haven't owned my 1970 442 w30 for almost 15 years
After 72, they really look bad.

                          1970

                          1973

                            Mark,
That's my car. I'm dying right now. Thanks for sharing these pics even though they are painful as much as they are pleasure-lol
Not helping the situation since 1965!

My first ride was a 76 Olds and it was a boat. I have a 72 Cutlas S that I would like to put on the road, but that will be awhile. Mark that is damn nice for a "quicky". I don't paint anymore but I know how weather changes can screw with your program.
