It took me 3 seconds to get the Charvel logo, but a few minutes to get Dave's which I still can't really make out. I get the background to "float" but can't make out the image. Maybe because it's inverted!!

Dave's was actually recessed. I used to have the program to make your own but I think it got deleted when I added a new motherboard and CPU....

Dave's was "JCF" written in three layers (or shadows).

Seeing "recessed" or "stand out" comes down to how you look at the image in a lot of cases. I think most images are designed to stand out, but only if you relax the eyes & "look into infinity" to cross the images over. I can only easily do it by crossing my eyes (i.e. crossing the image over the other way) & I see the "stand out" pictures as "recessed" & vice versa.

You have to basicly blurr the image. Take 2 fixed lines running Verticly and blurr your eyes untill they overlap eachother.
