  • In need of a big favour - Paypal

    Hi everybody!

The situation is like this: I've won an ebay auction, but the seller only accepts the "non-credit-card" payments. Is there anyone out there to help me? It goes like this: I'll send you the sum (plus something extra for the effort, of course) and you deposit the necessary sum to the seller from your balance. The currency should be EUR, so there will be no complications with recalculating. The seller is located in Germany, so the best thing would be, that you're from Germany so there will be no complications with currency.

Anyone not afraid to help? Plz! I owe u big time.

How does the seller know what source your funds came from?
Whenever I recieve funds, I just see the amount, not where it was funded from.

Its the way the account was set up for bank transfers only. Its a personal paypal account. Ebay won't let big sellers do this anymore they make them accept CCs.

Because if it's from a credit card, then you'll have to upgrade your Personal Paypal account to accept it... you'll then be charged a small fee any time you receive a payment after that, whether it's through a credit card or not. Happened to me a few years ago when someone bought a guitar off me using a credit card.

Plus the whole address deal. It would be unconfirmed if someone added your address to their account. A lot of sellers won't ship to unconfirmed addresses.

Hmmm... I guess I never noticed as I've always accepted credit cards.
The fee is a small price to pay when it comes having a wider audiance to sell to. I always factor in the fees into the selling price.
