  • No peace in the can

As you know, it's been a little snowy up here lately. So this morning I'm doing my business on the old crapper. And I feel a drop of water on my head. The vent fan is right above the toilet and the snow is melting right above the throne and dripping.:ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF: :ROTF:

How the hell do you fix that on a trailer? You need to get up there and shovel off that show. 6 to 12" are coming for me today.

If it's dripping in the toilet, then why would it matter?

Or you could just put your recliner under it and maybe the dripping would wash off the BBQ sauce.

ahhhh yes, the days of living in a trailer. Getting up on the roof on a nice hot day with the fiberous aluminum paint and sealing every friggin thing in sight. I don't miss it, but I know it well!! I do miss the rain hitting the roof though, sounded like eggs frying

I love the sound of rain on the roof. My $500,000 house in Marin would let me hear the first drop hit. I don't like real roofs where you don't know what's going on outside. And, how that I have heat, unlike in my 500K house, I miss not knowing what the temp was outside by just walking around the inside of the house.

So fett, how can you go from a half a million dollar home to a trailer? Or is your trailer also worth half a million from all the Jacksons that you own?!

No. I'm a widower. Just ran out of money. Don't be an unemployed 50+ person. I just moved from a "Doublewide" home to a nice cozy trailer.

Most $500K houses around here come with heaters. LOL j/k

Did you swap the heater for a KV2 or something?

It's a long story. The house had radiant heat. That is, a nat gas boiler and copper pipes in the slab. It costs about $500 a month to heat it. No insulation anywhere. The house was a piece of shit. It was just in a place where it sold for $500K. And that was 3 years ago.

I'm sorry to here that, I'll go take my foot out of my mouth now.
You may not live in a big house anymore but the view you have from your trailer in priceless!

They are putting metal roofs on million dollar homes down here now, I put a new metal roof on my house a few years ago, and its the only way to go. you can get it in a variety of colors and they press it off a roll to any length, 3 foot wide, 26 ga. I am currenty building an entire structure over my moms POS mobile home, Hurricane ivan tore off a big chunk of her roof and all my efforts to repair it are futile, so this will do the trick, just gotta cut off the old overhangs and frame for the new gables and curtain wall and put some dark grey metal siding up

I say the boy ain't right!
