I had to cancel my gigs for Dec due to tendonitis in my left thumb. The pain is incredible when I try to use it. I bought a brace and I'm taking motrin along with ice at night. Anybody have any other advise? I'm kinda freaked out.

Motrin has been known to not react well with the old liver.
http://www.healthsquare.com/newrx/MOT1276.HTM I had a very infamed knee and was perscribed Motrin X 6. It was a mega-dose. Read the warning and decided I liked beer better.
