I hear nearly no resemblence to Dickinson. He sounds a lot like Tom Kenny IMO (the guy who does the voice for Spongebob). He sounds like Tom Kenny when he voiced Dog from CatDog. Here's a shitty quality clip, but you can hear it okay.

The closest vox I've heard to Dickinsons..and I heard alot.
Is Gardenian "Soul Burner"..Swedish death thrash with clean melodic parts..way before that formula got caught on here in the states..released 1999 on Nuclear Blast..especially songs "tell the world I'm sorry" and "small electric space"..VERY good cd..for any fans of classic Soilwork and InFlames..way before it became sorta "trendy".
