Zakk rocks! And all the Zakk bashers out there need to get a grip. When everyone else dropped shredding and solos like they were the plague it was Zakk Wylde and Dimebag that kept the torch burning.
And to who ever it was that made the penis fly trap comment... maybe your problem isn't with Zakk but with the fact that you think of your penis when you see a picture of him.

K....let's break this down.
1. Never said Zakk didn't rock.
2. I agree that Zakk and Dime did a hell of a lot to bring about the return of soloing.
3. I made the penis fly trap comment when I started this thread. I'm surprised that he managed to keep it shut in one photo during the latest GW shoot. While the last part of your post makes no sense, I will still reply.
The only thing my penis does when I see a picture of Zakk is retract(This is purely for safety reasons of course). But I do think of my penis sometimes though. As a matter of fact, I brought it flowers the other day.:ROTF: :ROTF:

Something abotu buy a $100 and get a free Epiphone Zakk Wylde or something crazy. The guitars won't ship until may. so you can't call it a scam yet now can we :P

Zakk probaly would have never been nothing if it wasnt for ozzy, and true ozzy did pick him, but come on lets be real, two reasons ozzy picked zakk, the first and most important is he looked like a Randy clone, played the same guitars etc... Probaly the second reason is he could pull off playing all of Jakes and Randy's music and had great stage presense.

Like I said, i give him respect because he can play everyone else's music pretty damn near perfect. But when it comes to writting he is no where in the same league as Randy and Jake.

I think like other people has said, he really needs to get rid of that tough guy image and probaly tell Sharon to go f herself. Ozzy is not the prick, he just has no balls and lets sharon run everything, and well we see how she screwed her own family, goes to show you her character.

Yeah sure he can play all there music and back in early ozzy days he had great stage presense and looked "pretty" as all the guys from that era tried to look

But look at him now, last few times i saw them there wasnt much stage presence and just because he can play any song back perfectly does not mean he is a great song writter. like i said i find nothing special about his guitar writting.

yea, being able to nail all of Jake & Randy's music AND having great stage presence is probably fair indication that he wouldn't have gone far as a guitarist without Ozzy

Umm, the first 357 Customs promotion deal was started last November... guitars were supposed to ship this past March, then May, then whenever. Very few people received free guitars. It was pretty much a scam. It was buy a $100 gift certificate, get a Zakk motorcycle replica for $32 and get a free guitar to match the bike (Buzzsaw/Sawblade, Camo, Bullyseye). Then there was another promo for MP3/MP4 players, and another for a laptop computer or something. I was in on the first deal, got my Buzzsaw chopper replica and gift cert., no guitar. I used my GC and bought some shirts and a mug off their site, I'm only out $32 for the shipping of the supposed free guitar from over a year ago. Do a search, there were a couple pretty big threads about them.
