Hey hey. Yeah those are very rare. I think they are hollow inside and they turn colors-not just stay the same. I guess they get very hot after a few minutes too. I'd love to have one.

Yes...extremely rare...only about 150 in existance according to the Gruhn book.
Very cool, and yeah...the colors cycle. Very psychadelic! I've seen one in person many years ago....they don't get hot like you think. The light element is very similar to a fiber optic device that changes colors by way of a multi colored wheel that turns. They are noisy though when the lights are on. The motor that turns the color cycle wheel....
The price is fitting given their rarity.Comment
