  • I need to learn a new acoustic song(recommend me one)

Hey guys, I try to balance my electric guitar and acoustic playing out, and I want to learn a new song on the acoustic. I just learned Classical Gas, but its time for a new one. I don't know a lot of acoustic songs, so it would be cool if you could suggest something new for me to learn.

The Man Who Sold the World is a good one, as well as Jane Says or Where did You Sleep Last Night?

Any tune the mixes individual bass lines and melody is pretty cool

        Big love as well.
        Lindsay Buckingham kicks ass.

        Another is Bouree? Bach tune?

                  Song for George--Eric Johnson

I'm in the process of learning this song right now. Actually, I've been in the (extended) process of learning this song for 3 years.

thanks for the correction Tim, I typed those off the top of my head away from the guitar without checking.

I'm one of those "can play it, but don't always know the name of each barre chord." but I'm learning them cause my bandmate is really good at theory so I pick his brain all the time.
