Nice set-up - I just took the plunge into recording gear as well... WAY behind your set-up.
Just curious - I have a Savage 120 as well with GB G-Flex ported cabs.. how do you like that cab with the head?
I like it better than the Behringers i used to have , on par with the Randall, but not as much as he 82 Carvin( beat up cab W/ metal grill) which still has all 4 150 watt Celestion Sidewinders...i'm still undecided if i want to slap 2 V30's in an X pattern and see how that sounds.
how do you like the G-force cab with it? 2-12 or 4-12?
let me get board of this settup first
I have bigger plans that involve a projector,, but that will have till i finish the studio i'm building, its my 1200 sq ft shop i'm renovating, when i'm done it will be around 2500....but i'm working alone so it will take some time.....
i do have a pic or two from inside, that i took when i made the console desk to house all this stuff,,,not much to look at yet but it will get there.....

Wow, very nice room.
Just one thing: With the big screen hanging so high, don't you have neck problems when staring on it for some hours ? Normally the middle of a screen should be a bit below the eye height.
Flo
its acctualy tilted forward so when i sit back in my chair i'm kinda looking right at it.
I'm saving these pictures for the next time the Mrs. stares at a piece of gear and asks me, "did you need that?"
yess,,,more skulls,,,,,and if your wife is anything like most every woman i have known,,,if that question ever comes up,,dont say a word,,gently guide her to where she keeps her collection of shoes,,,point at them ,,look at her and raise one eyebrow....point taken
Dave, you are still my hero, my friend-friggin KILLER!!

I'm gonna need your services agian for some more sets of my custom warrior pup rings, but i'll have to get with you after the X-mas thing is over.... and i'm in recovery :ROTF:

Man, that looks EXACTLY like the server/pop room at the ISP I used to work at.
You could literally burn 2 or more cables by trying to trace a single one!
When I got a contract with Reuters, I learned about "dressing down" those cabinets... which takes more time than racking and configuring the equipment in the rack.
Nice setup Dave.
No wonder your guitar clips of that preamp sound so dreamy.
I am still half tempted to ask you how to get those sounds out of a preamp.
...But you probably still hate me :P
Is that really just a "jam room" or are you running some kind of recording studio there?
Sup? and thanks...
Nope,,,its just one of the rooms in the house(And bigger than our bedroom i might add ) and thats just my own personal recording rig
I have thought about taking on some projects though,,,maybe when i have my building finished and everything moved out there,, i'll study it a little harder....but i probably wouldn't turn a band down that had some cash to blow

I have 2 2x12 Gflexs.. great sound, but I think their speakers are a bit brittle sounding. Live - great, Studio - I prefer a Celestion...
I also have a Slash Cab, as well as a Vintage ENGL (V30's) and an ENGL Pro (not sure of the speakers - it is in storage)... That head sounds great with those as well...
