Another point about taking good pics - if your camera has a Macro setting (usually indicated by a small flower), use that for close-up shots - logos, dings, etc.
Also, if your camera can accept add-on lenses, try to pick up some close-up/magnifying lenses, especially if you tend to favor guitars that have a few dents and dings. They're also great for insurance photos (jewelry, etc).I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood
