While my rack is totally finished now, and im greatly excited about it. I'm not looking forward to trying to figure out how to program my FCB1010 with my G major. I suck with understanding things and I know this is going to be a PITA, but worth it when it gets done. haha.

I had a great Christmas with my cool family. Got two pairs of jeans, socks, a wallet, a sweatshirt, 4 DVDs (Clerks II, South Park The Hits: Volume I, That '70s Show Vol. I, and Crossroads), 3 CDs (The Haunted - The Dead Eye limited edition double disc set, Slipknot Volume 3: The Subliminal Verses limited edition double disc, and The Best of Type O Negative). And I got a new compact stereo system with turntable, dual cassette, 3-disc CD changer. Now I can bust out all my old vinyl records again!

My cousin went nuts having kids so a few years ago it was decided the family would draw names and spend a max of $35 on the person they draw. Naturally that means either cash or gift cards. Everyone that wants gift cards specifies where they want it from, makes sense. I wanted one from Bass Pro. I figured I could almost get a box of 9mm ammo... I got $30 cash...

Personally I find the whole thing a huge hassle. Everyone wants to go over to my aunts house, which is ok, but I'm always bored shitless. The only person I have to talk to only wants to talk about computers... Great let me talk about work on Christmas, but he has so many kids that if he tries to have a 5 min conversation his mom gets pissed at him. So that ruins the mood.

So it turns into a 2 day 4 hour bore fest so I just kind of choose to not be a part of it. I buy stuff for people and wish them all a merry christmas and all, I mean I'm not a scrooge, but I prefer to do my own thing.

This year I drew the name of a girl who technically isn't even part of my family (very extended part), who I've met one time that lives out of state. How can ya beat that, huh?
