Looking at it like that I could say killing Timothy McVeigh, John Wayne Gacey, Mussolini or virtually any other person sentenced to death wouldn't solve whatever problems they caused.
Personally I think hanging is too good and too quick for Saddam. He should be beaten daily until he just dies and then tossed on a bon fire...

granted he might have doen soe bad shit but he did keep control over iraq, ask yourselves this what will killing saddam achieve, it won't stop the insurgents killing our troops, it wont stop them killing mothers and children and it certainly won't solve the problems we have with terrorists uk and usa....
It's like the uk handgun ban it won't solve the problem long term it's just something to keep the crowds of governments backs because they can't handle the pressure....

Saddam execution order upheld....thoughts?
So the appeal was denied in the Saddam case, and the execution must take place in 30 days.
My thoughts on this are it's well deserved. Anyone who has commited the kinds of crimes he has, deserves what he's going to get. As barbaric, and old-fashioned as it sounds...an eye for an eye. Too bad Saddam doesn't have hundreds of pair of eyes to take for his killings.
I don't believe he should suffer alive in a jail somewhere. I think he and other tyrants like him need to be exterminated from this lifetime.
Your thoughts? (without getting into a political pissing match!!!!!) I'm just curious about your opinions.
