I shook his hand back in '73 or '74. My dad held me up as he was walking by at somekind of speech or rally and he smiled at me and shook my hand. Kind of a cool memory. I also remember peeing next to a barrel in the middle of the crowd.... lol...

        RIP Mr. President.

                      For the last time, apparently.

Let's see Chevy Chase do that impression

They did a whole retro on Prez Ford on NPR. And they just could not stop talking about his claim to fame. His famous stumbles. They even mentioned Chevy Chase and how that made him famous. Gerald Ford did a good job cleaning up after Nixon. He was a congressman for 25 years. He was a good guy and may he rest in peace.

well, I don't think it would be that hard to look good after the antics of the Nixon admin...

What a lackluster run. Ford and then Carter... But yeah, they were nice guys...

93? Dude did well... A good life.

Yeah...he lived a good life, and was one of the richer of the former presidents. I remember his administration when I was a young 'un...I always remember hearing talk about him in my house...mostly good, especially in the wake of the Nixon regime.
