    Hate Thread!

    Well we've all talked about our favorite bands, solos, drummers, bassists, vocalist blah, blah, blah! Now I wanna know who you hate!! I won't even get into rap....metal/rock only!!
    I'll start with...
    Alice in Chains
    Aerosmith
    Testament (I know I'll get flack for this)
    Ozzy for the most part(Randy rocks though)
    Metallica's black album period
    Sepulturas Roots period
    Scorpions
    Warrant
    Poison ( cool b.c.'s though),
    most Judas Priest
    BLS

    Basically all dickwad bands that think they've "re-invented" metal by adding lyrics that have to do with roses, love, girlfriends, teen angst, "problems" at home and/or killing love with razorblades and maybe even stabby ripping hearts with bleeding kisses and that entire xSCENEx and all that b/s crap.

    There's just so much more, but it's not worth it.

        I don't think it's hating artists, because I have total respect for everyone of the artists I mentioned, but I hate the music they're producing.

            I like to love and not so much hate so I have to say I love Barry Manilow. My rendition of "Mandy" in the shower,nonetheless, will leave you wet!:ROTF:

              Well I don't hate these bands, but I never liked their music:

              Metallica
              Faster Pussycat (how did Taime ever get a record deal?)
              Anthrax
              Bullet Boys

              and especially:

              Nirvana and Pearl Jam

                I can't hate any music, but I dislike a lot of stuff, infact most of the music sounds crappy to me. It's easier to make a list of bands I like.

                ...but some bands that are frequently mentioned on this board...

                Children Of Bodom
                Dragonforce
                In Flames
                Soilwork
                Arch Enemy
                Slayer
                any of those power metal bands who call themselves "prog"....Kamelot, Adagio etc.
                Any black metal band
                Coldplay

                  EVERYTHING "mainstream"..

                  anything "Grunge" , "Nu" or "Rap" oreinted..

                  ANYTHING remotely popular from 1992-2003..with the exception of Alice in Chains..

                  That was THE "great depression" in my book..the ebonic plague was in full force..we lost a lot of good kids in that shit..some still suffering from post traumatic wiggerdom..

                  Kids today should stick to bands LIKE Trivium instead of the Insane Clown Pussies, Eminem..and all that wannabe bullshit!

                  But these are my convictions..I don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks...so fuck you.

                          Out of the wussy lot of pop music, I actually really like Coldplay....at least their first two albums. I don't have their most recent.

                          But I've been listening to lots of metal lately. Love the metal channel on digital cable. But I really, really dislike that stupid song called "See you at the graveyard. After midnight". Whoever that is, they successfully wrote one of the dumbest, most irritating songs I've heard in quite some time.
