Thre are some great places to be a cop actually, on Long Island in a town called Oyster bay, it's very upscale, about 20 minutes from where I grew up, I heard the cops start at around $80k in that town, but I can't prove it. Plus the only crime going on there is a stolen bicycle as far as I remember from that town, it is beautiful.
